Copeland & Garrett meat platter,
20.7" x 16", c1833-1847

This antique English meat platter is virtually "as new" and makes a wonderful display piece.  Copeland & Garrett took over the Spode factory in March 1833, and they continued to produce high quality pottery.  This ironstone-style platter features a "flow blue" effect and is charmingly decorated in yellow, orange and green.  The printed mark is accompanied by the painted pattern number "6982".  Perfect condition.  Excellent as a featured display piece.
