Spode Stone China platter,
11.2" x 8", c1812-1830

This lovely antique English ironstone platter was produced by Josiah Spode, whose factory achieved very high quality standards.  This platter is pattern number 2086 - one of the earlier patterns (2053 was the first Spode stone china pattern).   It's just beautiful, with excellent hand-painted red details and fine gilding.  Perfect condition, just like new.  You'd never guess it was nearly 200 years old!  Exquisite.
